Born in the orange city of Nagpur, Ankush Deshmukh is an booming actor, who is striving to make his mark in the entertainment industry. He has appeared in many commercials and has worked with some big names in Bollywood. Though his roles were minuscule, he made a mark for himself by enacting those roles with full zeal and commitment.
A graduate in Mass Media from Sinhgad Institutes, Pune, Ankush had his initial schooling in Chandrapur. He began his acting career with a theatre group in Nagpur and did some short films during his college days. He has worked in Marathi serials such as 'Kunku' and 'Junjha'. He also worked in Hindi serials like 'Prayashchit' and 'My Name is Lakhan'.
He commenced his journey to stardom in 2013 when he was selected for modeling in some advertisement films. His first commercial was for Mahindra and later appeared in advertisements for Cadbury and Havells. Ankush has shot nearly 300 commercials to date. Ankush got a chance to work in a Marathi film, 'Idea Chi Kalpana', directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar while he also shared the screen with prominent stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Salman Khan. He considers it as a learning experience and describes that during the audition, he was not sure about getting selected for the role but he never shied away from giving auditions.
His efforts paid when he received a call from Dharma Production for the movie 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' which was his first break on the silver screen. After a huge impact through commercials and movies, Ankush got one more movie opposite Shahid Kapoor in 'Kabir Singh' wherein director Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave him a chance to play a character.
Following an overwhelming response from 'Kabir Singh' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya', Ankush received one more call for the movie 'Lootcase', directed by Rajesh Krishnan. In this film, he had a comic role which was the crucial one.
